Todd Johnson, Attorney

Todd is a native of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. He attended St. Olaf College and Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri, from which he graduated in 1982. While in law school he was the executive editor of the Washington University Law Quarterly. His entire professional career has been spent helping persons injured in accidents.

Todd is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and is an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association. He is also a civil trial specialist certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association.

Todd has represented a number of people with traumatic brain injuries and is very involved in seeking to educate both lawyers and the general public regarding brain injuries. He was on the executive committee of the Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Group of ATLA from 1995 until 2000 and has been a board member of the Minnesota Brain Injury Association since 1996. He was the moderator of the Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Group Annual Meeting in New Orleans in 1997 and the ATLA 1997 Annual Convention, in San Diego. Some of Todd’s speaking engagements include acting as the course chair and a presenter for the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association seminar, The “Mild” Brain Injury Case, 1995; Course chair and a presenter for the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association seminar, The Closed Brain Injury Case: What you Need to Know,1997; Presenter for the Minnesota Institute of Legal Education courses in November 2000 with the topic, Presenting the Traumatic Brain Injury Case/Proven Techniques for Maximum Effectiveness.

Todd is active in his community. He was on the local hospital board of directors for 6 years including a year as president of the board and is a past president of the Willmar Noon Lions.
